Articles and Stories from an Israeli’s Point of View

These eighteen stories and articles were all written during my three year service as the Israeli Community Shaliach at the UJA Federation of Northern New Jersey. Some of the articles were published by the NJ Jewish Standard, and a few others have never been published prior to this book.
I cannot express in words how grateful and honored I am to have had the opportunity to serve as the Israeli emissary in this wonderful Jewish community. I would like to thank and acknowledge each and every individual and institute that I have worked very closely with throughout these past three years:-
The Jewish Agency For Israel, UJANNJ’s Board of trustees, UJANNJ’s executive team, the chairs and members of the committees, my colleagues and friends – the staff of UJANNJ, the Rabbis and congregants from all of the synagogues and temples, the directors and staff of the three JCC’s, all the principles and faculties of the day schools and congregational schools, the local Israeli community, and all the many many volunteers, lay leaders and members of the community who were always so kind and welcoming.
